Don't miss the great deals out there..

If you haven't seen this yet... I'm so sorry I haven't gotten a chance to post about it. Life with a newborn seems to be a bit more challenging than I had expected and I've also been working a lot from home and at my husband's office helping to get our small business started.

Check out all the many places you can get some high quality Kraft product coupons here

and then check out the great deals at Target you can use some of them on over here

I hope to get out tomorrow and catch some free Hershey Bliss candy bars and cheap crackers and Mayo. Not to mention taking advantage of the final week of free apples and picking up some free Kraft BBQ sauce (just in time for grilling)

I'll try to make time to post the deals of the week. I've been out of the loop but the local stores have had a few good sales.

I'm hoping to catch some cheap Dr.Pepper from Reasors tonight before that sale ends!

Back to blog...

As you can see, it's obviously been a few days since I've posted and completely missed the deals of the week this week. Well, about Wednesday my week went a little crazy when my 22 month old son threw up everywhere. By the next day, my 3 year old and I were showing signs of sickness. Fortunately, my husband was able to work from home and help me out because if taking care of four kids wasn't enough...

Anyhow, I apologize for my absence this week. This blog IS called Mommy Management-- and that's exactly what I was doing-- being Mommy. Family first and everything else follows.

Everyone's well and just recovering. I now have a massive pile of laundry and a dirty house that need my attention, but I hope to join you all tomorrow with Meal Plan Monday and the deals for Target and Walgreens.

Thanks for reading as I continue my journey to Manage Mommy!

Feel free to comment and tell me what deals you got this week!!

Free and Cheap Food for Tomorrow (4/29)

Domino's is giving away FREE LUNCH tomorrow (4/29) from 11am to 2pm. Stop by any participating location for a carryout order of their NEW Bread Bowl Pasta!

Tomorrow night is 31 CENT SCOOP NIGHT at Baskin-Robbins! From 5pm to 10pm, stop by a participating location for a small scoop of their delicious ice cream for $0.31. This helps firefighters and there's usually a fire truck. The firefighters will let your kids get in and look around! Cheap family fun!!

Is it just me or is coffee getting into everything these days? Are we that addicted?... I guess I am because I'm going to go here to print a coupon for $1/1 Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty or Frosty-cino at Wendy's. Coffee and ice cream... doesn't get much better!

Target Possible Freebies and Great Deals

Target has some pretty good deals this week. I would highly recommend signing up for A Full Cup to access their Target Coupon Generator which keeps the past Target coupons that have not expired yet. I don't know what I'd do without A Full Cup!

Meal Plan Monday

So last week's meal plan went fairly well. I really liked having a list of meals that I could look to and prepare without having to think too hard about that looming question of "What's for dinner?"!

Because some of our plans changed, our menu changed with it and we didn't eat a few items on the list (so you'll see them resurface this week). We ended up celebrating Mother's Day early for my mother-in-law because she's working on a project in Germany and won't be back until the end of May- so Sunday was out to eat (again... yum, but ugh on the pocketbook) and then dinner at my sister-in-law's. This week should be a little more stable and (hopefully) not so much eating out (or none at all!).

I was SUPER excited tonight though. I made my shopping trip to Reasor's because a lot on my list was on sale. While I was going to get milk, I spotted the half-gallons of Vitamin D milk on price reduction for $0.99!! I ended up with 8 half-gallons and am sad that I didn't get more! They were reduced because their expiration date was May 5th (which is NEXT Tuesday!)- my family goes through 2-3 gallons of milk A WEEK! Plus, I had already planned to have a baking day this week (a day to do a bunch of "bulk baking") and I could use up the milk in my recipes. So now my refrigerator is full of half-gallons and my husband thinks I'm crazy. :) (He thought that before now anyway)

I didn't end up getting around to baking the cinnamon rolls last week, so guess what's rising in the kitchen (at 10:30 at night)- you guessed: cinnamon roll dough! I made a double batch and plan to take some pans to my elderly neighbors across the street. I'll prep everything tonight and actually bake them tomorrow. I ended up using my Betty Crocker recipe instead of The Pioneer Woman's. I am planning on using one of her other recipes this week.I've also got some beans soaking in the crockpot so I can have them ready to cook tomorrow. I'll be using some in my chili this week and freezing the rest to use in other dishes throughout the next weeks (just think: taco salad, refried bean burritos, beans and rice...) Anyhow- back to the meals for THIS week--here's the rundown:

Breakfasts (all paired with fresh fruit)
Cereal
Cinnamon Rolls
Sweet Potato Pancakes (leftover from the big batch I made last week and threw in the freezer)
Oatmeal
Eggs, Bacon, Waffles (on Saturday)

Lunches
Ham Sandwiches, chips, fruit
Cheese quesadillas, fruit smoothie
PBJs, fruit, yogurt
Homemade Pizza, Salad
Leftovers x2

Dinners
BBQ meatballs, mashed potatoes, peas
Chili, corn, homemade bread
Roast, mashed potatoes, peas, homemade rolls (the mother-in-law is coming over for dinner- gotta impress)
Chicken Spaghetti, salad, green beans, homemade breadsticks (aka homemade rolls in breadstick shape)
Hamburgers, Hot dogs, oven fries, corn
Homemade Mac & Cheese, broccoli

So what's on your menu this week??
...More tomorrow about Target and Walgreen deals and cheap Baskin-Robbins ice cream this week!!
